Chatty Toddler

My little munchkin is already 26 months and 11 days.  I'm amazed at how much she's grown and learned during this time.  She's and a independent little person with her own personality, likes and dislikes...ohhh and the attitude, the wonderful toddler attitude.  She's still the happiest toddler I've met, always singing and smiling, but when the toddler attitude hits, watch out.  We call her the powerful little giant.

I'm happy to say that communication now has gotten sooo much easier, as she seems to be talking much more everyday and is able to tell us what she wants a little better. I love to hear her say new words or her version of these words everyday.

I have no idea how she learned to use my Iphone and Ipad, maybe by watching me or experimenting or both.  She's an expert, she knows where everything is and how to use it. Taking pictures or just browsing them, playing videos, listening to music and even playing with Tomkat....no problem.  Does that mean she'll want her own Iphone by the time she's in Kindergarten...

Daniella is 2

My little munchkin turned 2 on January 3.  She just gets more adorable everyday. She had for separate birthday celebrations.  Jorge's family cut a cake for her on Jan. 1 when we had lunch together, we cut another one the official day of her birthday...then came her double birthday celebration.  Gymboree party with her friends and a party at the house with our friends and family.   Of Course she became an expert candle blower. As I expected, she totally loooved her Gymboree birthday party, she had an amazing time.  Her Minnie cake was sooo beautiful and all the Minnie themed decorations were soo  great, she absolutely loved it.  Never saw a little girl enjoy her party as much as she did.   We had a great time just watching her enjoy herself.

Busy Weekend

It was a busy day weekend for Daniella.  Friday night she 'helped' us decorate the house for Christmas.  We of course bought a big box of shatterproof  Christmas ornaments to protect out beautiful, very breakable ornaments from our very active toddler.  Of course, she immediately put the shatterproof ornaments to the test by throwing them to the floor over and over.  Saturday she attended the Gymboree Christmas party and had a great time, she took a picture with Santa and even though she was a little serious she still sat there and let us take her picture.  She also learned to say Ho Ho Ho, which sounds totally adorable.  Yesterday she attended she went to her first 'pusima'  and loved it and all the treats she got.

First bad word

Ok, she's almost two and not fully talking yet.  Somehow she learned to say 'shit' and even knows it's proper use.  Note to me and my husband:  We need to be careful what we say around her.  We are constantly struggling to make sure we teach her spanish at home, but looks like we have to also watch out for those bad words.

The terrible twos are here!

Daniella is almost 2, and yes already in the terrible two stage.   She's talking up a storm, running,  dancing and getting into lots of trouble.  She has a strong and amazing personality. She is very sociable and not shy around strangers at all.  She is very sweet and loving and at the same time is very defiant and strong willed.  I am enjoying seeing her grow up so much and becoming her own little person with her own likes and dislikes.  Right now her favorites are: Dora, Elmo and Minnie.  Will dance to just about any music with a beat. Looooves me and her dad, her grandparents and show her excitement whenever she sees them.  Looking forward to the holiday season with her as she will really enjoy it this year.

Beautiful Daniella Marie

I am very passionate about my daughter Daniella. I waited a very long time for her and now it seems like a dream that she is here. She is almost 2 years old. She's beautiful, happy, sweet and very very smart. PERFECT is the word that has been most used to describe her and it suits her. She has brought sooo much joy into our lives and to the lives of our relatives. From the moment we brought her home she has been showered with love and attention from us her parents, our relatives and our friends. She is definitely one special baby!!!
